REORGANIZATIONAL AGENDA

 

1.    CALL OF ORDER-followed by the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

2.    ORGANIZE under the supervision of a Temporary Chairman appointed by the supervisors.

3.    NOMINATE & ELECT a chairman, vice chairman and appoint a secretary-treasurer/set salary.

4.    APPOINT & REAPPOINT employees who are not elected officials (zon off/salary, pool director/salary, life guards & pool workers/salary, police chief/salary, police patrolman/salary)

5.    AFFIRM those supervisors employed by the township as roadmaster, truck/equipment operators, or in any employee capacity.

6.    APPOINT the sewage enforcement, sewer plant secretary/operator, sewer plant consultant, sewer billing, and code enforcement officer.

7.    ESTABLISH the amount of the treasurer, real estate tax collector commission and bonds.

8.    APPOINT the legal counsel and engineer.

9.    APPOINT one registered elector of the township as chairman of the Vacancy Board.

10. APPOINT township residents to fill vacancies & expired terms on various boards (Zoning, Planning, etc.)

11. SELECT depositories for the township’s funds.

12. APPOINT emergency management coordinator & assistant coordinator

13. ESTABLISH a regular monthly meeting location & time & dates on which the Board of Supervisors will meet.

14. CERTIFY delegates to the State Association’s annual convention.  Choose one person as the voting delegate.

15. DETERMINE holidays for township non-unionized employees.

16. SET pavilion rates, fee schedule, permit fees, payday schedule

17. MOTION to pay utility, hospitalization, gas, refund BILLS as needed.

18. MOTION to pay OVERTIME for any non union employee at 1 ½ times per hour + mileage

19. MOTION to pay RETIREMENT for any non union employee at 5% of regular wages not to include overtime wages

20. COMPLETE old business & recognize citizens to be heard.

21. ADJOURNMENT
